A: The Girls Roller Backyard Hockey League, is a roller hockey league for girls ages 7-11 that plays in Issaquah, Washington.
There is also a Girls Street Hockey league for players new to hockey.
A: The skill level varies widely with some girls having experience playing in the Sno-King hockey league to brand new players.
Since teams rosters change based on who can attend, teams are set each game to balance skill level and we may rebalance teams mid-game for balance.
A: For 2024, the girls league will have both a street hockey league (shoes), and a roller hockey league (inline skates/rollerblades) for players who have some experience skating.
A: The priority is safety so we require full cage helmets, elbow pads, shin pads and gloves. For roller hockey we recommend full hockey gear. We have ~6-8 loaner sets of child youth small/medium gear including helmets, shin pads, elbows, gloves and sticks .

Girls Roller Hockey Season has started!

The inagural season for Girls Roller Hockey has started, we had a beautiful sunny day for Game 1! Special kudos to coaches Mike Pace and Dave Sheldon for leading during the game!
Announcement: This season, we will have two dedicated Girls hockey leagues including both street and roller hockey!
Interested girls can play in both leagues. We'll keep separate schedule, stats, and photos for each league.
