A: The Learn to Play Backyard Hockey League is a new, 'unofficial' co-ed roller hockey league designed to learn skating and hockey fundamentals with fun games.

A: The skill level varies with some kids having skated before, but with others this will be their first time skating.

A: The priority is safety so we require full cage helmets, inline skates, elbow pads, shin pads, gloves and a cup (if appropriate) when we play hockey.

Announcement: Starting in June, we'll have a Learn to Play Roller Hockey League for kids ages 5-11. This is a great opportunity for players with no experience to learn skating and hockey fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.
