A: The Kids Junior Backyard Hockey League is a new, 'unofficial' roller hockey league for kids ages ~10-14 that plays in Issaquah, Washington.

A: The skill level varies widely with some kids having experience playing in the Sno-King ice hockey hockey league to brand new players. Since teams rosters change based on who can attend, teams are set each game to balance skill level and we will rebalance teams mid-game if needed.

A: If you know how to play ice hockey, your skills will easily transfer to roller hockey.

A: The priority is safety so we require full cage helmets, inline skates, elbow pads, shin pads, gloves and a cup (if appropriate). Goalies typically wear full goalie gear and hard-toe boots (instead of skates).
